GRZ - Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Define, drive, and govern the enterprise DevOps roadmap and maturity model.
  


• Establish DevSecOps practices aligned with compliance, security, and audit requirements.
  


• Standardize CI/CD pipelines, release governance, environment strategy, and automation frameworks across business units.
  


• Lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
  


• Architect scalable and enterprise-grade CI/CD pipeline ecosystems using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  


• Define branching strategies, release workflows, artifact management, and environment promotion models.
  


• Implement automated testing, quality gates, security scanning, and compliance validation.
  


• Optimize pipeline performance, reusability, governance, and automation at scale.
  


• Design resilient, scalable, and cost-optimized hybrid cloud architectures with Azure as the primary cloud platform.
  


• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation) and configuration management.
  


• Lead containerization and orchestration initiatives using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  


• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, observability, and platform reliability.
  


• Establish DevOps frameworks for enterprise COTS platforms including Salesforce, Temenos, IBM Enterprise Suites, Snowflake, and similar applications.
  


• Design CI/CD automation, versioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines for packaged applications.
  


• Integrate COTS platforms with enterprise DevSecOps toolchains.
  


• Lead, mentor, and scale DevOps and Platform Engineering teams.
  


• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Application Development teams.
  


• Present technical strategy, solution architecture, and transformation roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
  


• Drive organization-wide adoption of automation, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and continuous improvement practices.
  


• Define and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to improve DevOps effectiveness.
  

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7+ years in DevOps leadership roles.
  


• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps and Jenkins pipeline architecture, governance, and enterprise-scale CI/CD implementation.
  


• Proven experience leading multi-cloud and hybrid cloud transformation initiatives, with Azure as a primary cloud platform.
  


• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  


• Strong experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
  


• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration technologies.
  


• Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
  


• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices including SAST, DAST, secrets management, and container security.
  


• Experience with artifact repositories such as Nexus and Artifactory.
  


• Proven experience implementing DevOps for enterprise COTS platforms such as Salesforce, Temenos, IBM Enterprise Suites, and Snowflake.
  


• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
  


• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
