Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for an organized professional who can develop and maintain a wide reaching database of guests and contacts for story ideas, interviews and appearances on news programs. This role will also write and produce news stories, segments, special projects as assigned.

The candidate should have the following qualifications:

-Excellent network level writing, and producing skills for broadcast and internet

-Previous experience of working in broadcast

-Proficient in networking with sources and maintaining an up-to date list of contacts in a variety of coverage areas

-Strong working knowledge of national news issues

-Strong phone communication skills

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced news environment and multi task effectively

-Ability to analyze complex subject matters

-Ability to show and tell a story with strong visual elements
