Job Description - Gynecologist

Posting Title: Gynecologist

Salary: ₹3.5LPM to 4LPM

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough gynecological examinations and patient consultations in the OPD setting.
Perform and interpret routine and advanced sonography scans for obstetric and gynecological conditions.
Manage antenatal and postnatal care, including monitoring fetal development and maternal health.
Assist in and supervise normal deliveries, ensuring safe and hygienic procedures in compliance with hospital protocols.
Provide counseling on reproductive health, family planning, contraception, and fertility awareness.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, nurses, and lab technicians to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in hospital -led health camps, community outreach programs, and preventive health initiatives.
Stay updated with the latest clinical guidelines, protocols, and advancements in gynecology and obstetrics.

Requirements:

MBBS degree with a recognized specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO/MD/DM) or equivalent.
Valid medical registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state council.
Proficiency in performing and interpreting gynecological and obstetric sonography (transabdominal and transvaginal).
Hands -on experience in OPD management, including patient triage, history -taking, and treatment planning.
Demonstrated ability to manage normal deliveries under supervision, including postpartum care and neonatal assessment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient -first approach.
Ability to work in a fast -paced clinical environment with attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and on -call duties as required.
