Summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine gynecological exams, including Pap smears and colposcopy, for early detection of reproductive health issues.
  
• Perform and interpret ultrasound (USG) scans for diagnosis and monitoring of gynecological conditions.
  
• Provide safe and effective care during normal vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
  
• Carry out minimally invasive and open surgical procedures such as laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, D&C, LEEP, hysterectomy, myomectomy, oophorectomy, tubal ligation, and pelvic floor repair.
  
• Manage benign and malignant gynecological conditions including fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis using medical and surgical approaches.
  
• Support infertility evaluation and management, including coordination with IVF and assisted reproductive technologies.
  
• Maintain accurate, compliant medical records and ensure adherence to institutional and regulatory standards.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient care.
  
• Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, family planning, and post -operative recovery.
  
• Stay updated on advancements in gynecological medicine and surgical techniques through ongoing professional development.
  

Requirements

• MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/MS in OBGYN) or equivalent.
  
• Valid registration with the National Medical Council (NMC) and eligibility to practice in India.
  
• Proven proficiency in:
  • Ultrasound (USG)
    
  • Dilation and Curettage (D&C)
    
  • LEEP
    
  • Hysterectomy and Myomectomy
    
  • Oophorectomy and Tubal Ligation
    
  • Pelvic Floor Repair
    
  • Normal vaginal delivery and cesarean section
    
  • Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy
    
  • Fibroid and cyst surgery
    
  • Infertility management (including IVF coordination)
    
  • Pap smear and colposcopy
    
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage routine and emergency gynecological cases.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient -first approach.
  
• Ability to work independently in a fast -paced clinical environment.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital documentation.
