Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Hair Trainer to join our academy in Una, Himachal Pradesh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high -quality theoretical and practical training in hairdressing, hair cutting, styling, colouring, chemical treatments, and salon operations. The candidate should be committed to developing students' technical expertise and preparing them for successful careers in the beauty and wellness industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training in hairdressing and salon techniques.
  
• Train students in haircutting, hair styling, hair colouring, hair spa, hair treatments, chemical services, and client consultation.
  
• Demonstrate the safe and hygienic use of professional hair products, tools, and equipment.
  
• Conduct practical assessments and evaluate student performance.
  
• Prepare lesson plans, training schedules, and learning materials.
  
• Maintain student attendance, progress reports, and assessment records.
  
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and professional salon standards.
  
• Stay updated with the latest hair trends, techniques, products, and industry innovations.
  
• Mentor students and support their skill development and placement readiness.
  
• Collaborate with the academic and management teams to achieve training objectives.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Certification in Hairdressing, Cosmetology, or Beauty & Wellness.

• Minimum 2–5 years of hands -on experience as a Hair Trainer or Senior Hair Stylist.

• Strong knowledge of haircutting, styling, colouring, chemical treatments, hair care, and scalp care.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to deliver both theoretical and practical training sessions.

• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and preparing reports.
