Job Description - Hardware Reliability Engineer


  • Provide
    applications engineering support to multiple program -integrated product
    teams (IPTs.)
  • Lead
    investigation of root cause for repetitive damage and failure rates.
  • Participate
    in annual and long -term reliability and capital planning.
  • Provide
    technical support to supervisors and craftsmen as needed.
  • Support
    the creation and delivery of operational objectives, facilities services,
    programs, and contracts for applicable facilities.
  • Develop
    and execute root cause failure analysis and corrective and preventive
    actions.
  • Own
    the budget development, financial variance analysis, and operations
    analysis.
  • Partner
    with support teams on new initiatives, site retrofits, etc.
  • Monitor,
    measure, and improve the performance and state -awareness of systems.
  • Manage
    performance metrics to ensure that programs are being adequately executed.
  • Promote
    continuous improvement in employee engagement and satisfaction, through
    the utilization and monitoring of IMPACT survey.
  • Work
    frequently with product teams on shared goals and cross -team projects.
  • Interface
    with partners and customer counterparts will be required per contract
    requirements.
  • Responsible
    for end -to -end product quality and reliability with a focus on data
    collection and analysis.
  • Develop
    standards and procedures as business and customer needs evolve.
  • Capacity
    planning and demand forecasting to meet systems demand, identifying
    performance bottlenecks and devising tuning improvements.
  • Comfortable
    with legal terms and structures for standard commercial contracts.
  • Identify
    and drive improvements in infrastructure and system reliability,
    performance, monitoring, and overall stability of the platform.
  • Assist
    in the disposition of nonconforming material and the implementation of
    corrective action.
  • Develop
    and present RAM assessments and lessons learned as required.
  • Lead
    the development, implementation, and maintenance of a life cycle asset
    management process for components, equipment, and processes at all
    facilities.
  • Identify,
    manage, and direct impactful projects from conceptualization to results.
  • Establish
    trust and maintain open, positive relationships with the team, customers, and
    vendors.
