HCL DX Developer

• Provide an expert level of skills & knowledge in the evaluation, development, testing and delivery of HCL DX WCM application and business process developments.
  


• Collaborate with the business in identifying functional requirements for process groups, and create corresponding technical specifications
  


• Create and modify HCL DX WCM configurations using defined development standards, procedures, and design specifications
  


• Develop test scripts, perform unit testing, and contribute to integration testing of development objects
  


• Provide technical support to end users; diagnose and resolve application-related issues, identify root causes, as well as institute corrective actions and preventive measures.
  


• Carry out detailed impact assessments for proposed change requests, proposing alternative cost-effective solutions where appropriate.
  


• Ensure change controls are developed, tested & released according to an agreed schedule and ensure all high business impact changes are escalated as appropriate.
  


• Expected to be involved in support activities and numerous development activities and to have developed excellent business process design skills.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in WCM/Portal 8/8.5/9 development.
  


• Ability to design solution and implement in WCM/Portal environment.
  


• Expert on WCM and DAM REST API.
  


• Experience on using HCL DX as a headless Content management system
  


• Personalization and search configurations
  


• Extensive knowledge on WCM components design and development
  


• Custom WCM items like workflows/plugins/JSPs
  


• Good understanding of JAVA/J2EE and portlet development
  


• Good  knowledge HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Dojo toolset and latest portal theme development and administrative skills
  


• Preferable knowledge on dockers, container and Kubernetes
  


• Experience with XML data import/export, including XML schema validation, data transformation, and integration with enterprise applications.
  


• WCM Debugging skills
  


• Good communication skills in English language.
