The Heavy Duty Services ITR Engineering Agile Leader will lead a team of ITR engineers, providing technical solutions for small-scope power plant upgrades (formerly known as PRL-4, eng flow, or similar names) for the global gas turbine installed base. This leader will be responsible for supporting the growth of the Global Services business line by working closely with sales, commercial operations, and end customers to deliver on-time/budget, creative and differentiated conversions, modifications, and upgrades (CM&U) solutions that ensure customer success and regional growth. This leader will be responsible for the quoting and execution of upgrades in this space to improve lead time, reduce engineering cost burden on the offerings, and increase margin. He/She will then continue to drive a culture of continuous improvement for further optimization.

Roles and Responsibilities
Establish expertise and continuity in ITR ownership, building standard work and improving on lessons learned
Provide leadership and oversight for a team of ITR engineers to help drive Gas Power services growth for small scope upgrades across gas turbine technologies in the global installed base
Support customers and commercial teams with technical leadership, including presentations, development of customer solutions, response to customer request, conferences, and any other initiatives to drive services growth
Interface across HD Services ITR Engineering, Product Line Management, and design engineering to ensure support of customer request are fulfilled
Drive process excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement to continue to reduce lead time and improve contribution margin
Model GenAI adoption and activate team
Model lean operations maturity through documentation of standard work, and employment of daily management for priorities and KPI’s
Provide leadership with high integrity and oversight of processes protecting intellectual property, export controlled and strategic technology
Foster a culture of safety and integrity within the team
Required Qualifications
This role requires prior experience in the function as listed above
Relevant/proven experience in direct or indirect people leadership
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or Equivalent Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor’s degree
Desired Characteristics
Direct or indirect leadership experience in HD Services ITR Engineering
Strong leadership/interpersonal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven technical knowledge of Gas Power Services engineered flow upgrades process and offerings
Experience working with the sales team and directly with customers
Developed network of contacts within Sales, Product Line, Project Management, and Engineering organizations
Proven ability to motivate others and achieve results within matrix environment
Demonstrated commitment to Lean operations and methods
Demonstrated adoption of GenAI tools
Demonstrated aptitude for process installation and change management
Broad technical understanding of GE Gas Power business processes and operations
