The Head – Commercial Finance will lead the commercial finance function, partnering closely with business, sales, operations, and supply chain teams to drive profitability, pricing strategy, and financial discipline. The role will be responsible for overseeing commercial contracts, cost analysis, margin management, working capital optimization, and financial support to business growth initiatives.
Commercial Finance & Business Partnering
Act as a strategic finance partner to sales, operations, and procurement teams.
Provide financial insights to support pricing strategies, product costing, and margin improvement.
Evaluate business proposals, customer contracts, and commercial agreements from a financial perspective.
Pricing & Costing
Lead product costing, pricing analysis, and profitability assessments across product lines.
Monitor raw material price fluctuations and their impact on margins.
Drive cost optimization initiatives with operations and procurement.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long -term financial planning.
Analyze variance in revenue, margins, and costs and present actionable insights to leadership.
Develop dashboards and MIS for commercial performance tracking.
Contract & Commercial Risk Management
Review and manage commercial terms with OEM customers and key vendors.
Identify financial and contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and commercial governance frameworks.
Working Capital & Cash Flow
Monitor receivables, credit terms, and inventory levels to optimize working capital.
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to improve collections and cash flow.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the commercial finance team across plants and corporate functions.
Strengthen financial controls, reporting systems, and analytical capabilities.
Qualification: CA / MBA Finance / CMA preferred.
Experience: 12–18 years of experience in finance, with strong exposure to commercial finance in manufacturing or automotive component industry.
Strong expertise in product costing, pricing strategy, margin analysis, and contract management.
Experience working with OEM customers and high -volume manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in automotive components, engineering, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
Exposure to multi -plant operations and OEM -driven business models.
