Job Description - Head - Digital Transformation


As the Head of Digital Transformation for our manufacturing company, you will be responsible for leading the strategic vision, planning, and execution of digital initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness across all aspects of our operations. You will work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and cross -functional teams to drive digital innovation and ensure alignment with business objectives. Your role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  1. Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and articulate a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for leveraging digital technologies to streamline processes, optimize resources, and create value across the manufacturing value chain.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on potential impact and feasibility.
  2. Leadership and Team Management:

    • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of digital experts, project managers, and change agents.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear goals and performance targets, and regularly evaluate progress against key performance indicators.
  3. Technology Evaluation and Implementation:

    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in digital transformation within the manufacturing industry.
    • Evaluate and assess the suitability of various digital tools, platforms, and solutions to address specific business challenges and opportunities.
    • Oversee the implementation of digital projects, ensuring successful execution within established timelines and budgets.
  4. Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Champion a change management mindset to facilitate the adoption of digital innovations throughout the organization.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and gain buy -in for digital initiatives.
    • Develop and implement communication and training programs to promote awareness, understanding, and proficiency in digital technologies among employees.
  5. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

    • Establish mechanisms for tracking and measuring the impact of digital transformation initiatives on key performance metrics, such as operational efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.
    • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital solutions, and make data -driven adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress, successes, and challenges of digital transformation efforts.





Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership and success in driving digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and industry -specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Deep knowledge of digital technologies, including but not limited to IoT, big data analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, change management, and team leadership.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to inform decision -making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities, with a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes and value.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast -paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities and challenges.
