embedded digital finance platform enables any retailer, e-commerce merchant or other
commerce partner to offer the widest range of embedded, frictionless instant digital
affordability options from multiple trusted lenders across all customer touch points. We work
with trusted lending partners (Banks, NBFCs and Fintechs) to develop and offer regulator
compliant, instant digital credit products embedded in consumer journeys.
Flexmoney was instrumental in helping define and establish the “Cardless EMI” category and
payment checkout option with lenders and online merchants in the Indian market, enabling
lenders to offer a completely digital transacting credit instrument to pre-approved users
without the need for a credit card relationship. Our “Cardless EMI” platform powers this
payment option at over 65,000 online merchants (including marquee merchants such as
Flipkart, Amazon, MakeMyTrip etc) and has enabled our lending partners (such as HDFC,
ICICI, Kotak Mahindra Bank & ICICI Bank amongst others) to rapidly issue over 45 Mn+
Cardless EMI transacting credit lines to their existing customers.
The next phase of Flexmoney’s growth is to expand beyond online “Cardless EMI” payments.
To that end we are developing a new digital Universal Affordability Platform that enables
omni-channel, seamless multi-lender 3600 embedded finance and associated services across
every potential commerce channel and customer touch point (online, in-store/in-branch, tele-
sales and agent assisted sales) as well as tailored credit products and deep vertical solutions
for multiple finance-led aspirational consumption segments (such as Edtech, Travel, Home &
Furniture, Insurance, Mobiles, Home Appliances, Health & Wellness amongst others)
Job Description
We are looking for a driven senior Sales Leader with solid experience in Lender Enterprise
Sales as well as Digital Lending and Credit products, to lead Sales, Monetization and New
Partnerships for Lending Partners. This person will build and lead a high-performance sales
and partnership team that will be responsible for acquiring new lending partners, monetizing
and deepening existing lender relationship, be responsible for lender enablement and success
with our platforms and solutions and also identify and partner with appropriate ecosystem
players to co-create new credit and other financial products that can be effectively distributed
via Flexmoney’s merchant and commerce partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead a Sales team to procure and onboard a curated supply of lenders and associated
credit supply to enable the success of our embedded Universal Affordability Platform
across all demand channels and commerce segments – direct enterprise merchants, key
verticals and aggregator and other partnerships.
2. Market map, identify and on-board lending partners with whom Flexmoney can co-create
tailored lending products for specific commerce segments or scenarios as appropriate
3. Work with lending partners and internal stakeholders to identify and enable the
appropriate credit supply via a mixture of product enhancements, partnerships,
underwriting support, credit policy negotiations and any other innovations as appropriate
4. Relentlessly drive lender portfolio monetization across all merchant and direct to consumer
demand channels including via lender & merchant offers, cross-sell & up-sell monetization
of additional products via our platforms, new BFSI partnerships (eg insurance etc)
5. Help attract, retain and build a high performance, metrics driven sales team and culture
that sets aggressive sales targets and exceeds them. Establish a predictable sales motion,
cadence and regular reporting and status updates of your achievement to plan to internal
stakeholders (senior management and investors)
6. Set and own business and sales targets for lender onboarding and monetization and be
responsible for achieving those targets in a methodical and predictable manner. Build a
strong sales pipeline and drive aggressive conversion of the same
7. Work with internal stakeholders to drive onboarding and revenue generation from lending
partners
Qualifications:
• Post Graduate Degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or related field.
• 10-15 years of proven experience in relevant field having dealt with Banks, NBFCs and/or
FinTechs is a must
• Experience in Digital Lending, Digital Payments or Credit is a must
• Have managed team of Sales / Relationship management individuals and partnerships
• Capability to understand technology and whiteboard a solution to Enterprise Customers
• Strong presentation & communication skills along with drive to over-achieve sales targets
• Collaborative attitude and be adept at working cohesively with internal stakeholders such
as Pre-Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Legal, etc
• Excellent customer focus and a strong attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills & ability to create strong partnerships are critical
• Relationship-management, strategic account planning, forecasting, quota attainment,
presenting business solutions via sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-
team opportunity management.
