Head of Corporate Development

This role is with one of our portfolio company.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the corporate development strategy, aligning M&A and partnerships with long-term product and business goals.
• Lead M&A and strategic transactions, support capital raising, and own investor engagement working closely with the founder, leadership team and Board on the decisions that will define the company's trajectory.
• Work with the founder to define M&A strategy, long-range planning, and identify inorganic growth opportunities.
• Identify and pursue strategic opportunities that strengthen the company product & services, accelerate growth, and expand the market position.
• Prepare and present investor materials including pitch decks, quarterly updates, financial disclosures, and Q&A packs.
• Lead end-to-end execution of deals - including sourcing, diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.
• Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, JVs, and minority investments.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders (banks, advisors, investors). Also, build and maintain relationships with potential investors.

• 10+ years of experience in top-tier investment banking, investing, corporate development, or investor relations, ideally with hands-on involvement in M&A, capital raising and strategic transactions.
• Deep experience in transaction execution, valuation, and complex financial modelling.
• Proven track record in leading complex M&A transactions and IPO.
• Strategic thinking and structured decision-making, with the ability to connect external opportunities to internal capabilities and long-term company goals.
• Excellent business sense and ability to understand and resolve complex business issues.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
