We are looking for an imaginative and visionary Head of Design to lead the ideation, creation, and execution of jewellery collections. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of creative excellence, trend forecasting acumen, and commercial insight. This role is integral to shaping the brand’s design language, overseeing seasonal and core collections, and guiding a team of talented designers.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership

• Establish and maintain a distinct design identity and aesthetic across all jewellery lines
• Lead end-to-end design development—from initial concept and sketching to prototyping and final product
• Translate brand goals and emerging trends into iconic, wearable jewellery designs

Collection Development

• Conceptualize and build seasonal, capsule, and evergreen collections across categories such as fine jewellery, bridal, and occasion wear
• Drive innovation in design while ensuring feasibility in cost, materials, and production scalability
• Partner with merchandising and marketing teams to align collections with commercial objectives

Trend & Market Intelligence

• Conduct in-depth trend research in fashion, culture, materials, and consumer behavior
• Analyze market data, customer insights, and competitor offerings to inform the creative strategy
• Represent the brand at relevant design exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events

Team Leadership

• Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of designers
• Ensure smooth workflow management, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards across all design projects

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Liaise with product development, sourcing, and production teams to ensure successful translation of designs into final products
• Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to support product storytelling, visual campaigns, and packaging development

Innovation & Sustainability

• Explore and incorporate new design technologies, materials, and sustainable practices
• Champion environmentally conscious sourcing and design methodologies wherever feasible

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in jewellery design, including at least 4 years in a leadership capacity
• A robust portfolio showcasing original work and a strong design signature
• Deep expertise in jewellery materials including gold, silver, diamonds, and gemstones
• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD) and strong hand-sketching abilities
• Background in fine, luxury, or designer jewellery is highly desirable
