This position is a senior engineering leadership role that integrates extensive technical expertise, platform ownership, engineering delivery, and people management. The ideal candidate will possess substantial hands-on experience with the .NET ecosystem, Microsoft Azure, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and DevOps methodologies. They should be proficient in leading Engineering Managers and Tech Leads, while spearheading efforts in platform modernization, scalability, reliability, and engineering transformation.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to steer engineering strategy, oversee delivery execution, drive platform modernization, and provide leadership across enterprise technology projects.

The successful candidate will have deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and managing large-scale engineering teams. This position demands a balanced combination of hands-on technical skills, operational responsibility, and strategic leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering Leadership & Delivery
• Manage end-to-end engineering delivery across diverse products and platforms.
• Ensure excellence in execution through effective prioritization, delivery oversight, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain high standards for scalability, reliability, performance, and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.

Modernization & Transformation

• Lead initiatives to transform engineering processes, platforms, and application development.
• Enhance SDLC processes, improve CI/CD maturity, increase developer productivity, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Promote the adoption of modern engineering practices and scalable delivery frameworks.
• Support the integration of AI-enabled products and engineering capabilities where relevant.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with the .NET ecosystem and enterprise application architecture.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong comprehension of distributed systems, scalable architectures, and microservices design.
• Familiarity with DevOps / DevSecOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations management.
• Preferred experience with AI-enabled systems, automation, or contemporary engineering tools.

Leadership Experience

• Demonstrated success leading large engineering teams and managing enterprise-level technology programs.
• Excellent skills in delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making.
• Experience overseeing globally distributed teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to integrate strategic vision with hands-on, execution-driven leadership.
