Head of Freight Forwarding

As the Freight Forwarding Division Head, you will oversee all aspects of the company's freight forwarding operations. You will be part of the company's core management team and lead a team of marketing professionals to promote our services and build strong customer relationships effectively. This position requires exceptional leadership qualities, extensive market knowledge, and previous experience as a member of a management team of a logistics or freight forwarding company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the freight forwarding team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

2. Operations Management: Oversee the freight forwarding division's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.

3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their freight forwarding requirements.

4. Market Analysis: Stay well-informed of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes, leveraging market knowledge to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.

5. Financial Management: Develop and manage the division's P&L, including creating budgets for the freight forwarding division, monitoring financial performance, and implementing cost-saving measures where necessary.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry for a minimum of 5- 10 years, with a track record of successfully managing divisions' P&L, teams/branches and driving operational excellence.

In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding processes, including customs regulations, documentation requirements, and international trade practices.
