Head of Procurement

Our Client is seeking a skilled and dynamic Head of Procurement & Contracts for our Industrial and Warehousing development division, based in Mumbai. As one of India's leading industrial real estate developers, our client has a nationwide presence and a reputation for excellence.

The Head of Procurement & Contracts will lead the procurement team, playing a pivotal role in shaping project delivery strategies through precise cost estimation. This role involves establishing and maintaining a robust network of vendors and contractors to ensure a reliable supply chain for construction projects across India.

This position focuses on leadership in three key areas:

Commercial and Contractual:

• Setting a commercial vision to optimize the total cost of ownership.
• Maintaining high standards of delivery and product quality.

Managerial:

• Leading and inspiring the procurement team.
• Fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring effective management of procurement processes.

Operational:

• Driving efficiency in procurement operations.
• Overseeing project scheduling, supplier management, negotiation, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Management and Estimation:

• Collaborating with the estimation team.
• Maintaining a comprehensive cost database.
• Ensuring competitive pricing for project materials.
