We are seeking an experienced and result -oriented Head of Sales with a strong background in Maritime Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Marine Electronics, Navigation Systems, VSAT, and Connectivity Solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a proven hunter mindset, capable of acquiring new customers, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth across shipping companies, ship managers, offshore operators, ports, and shipyards.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Hunting
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the maritime and offshore sectors.
• Drive sales of Maritime SATCOM solutions including VSAT, L -Band, Starlink Maritime, Inmarsat, Iridium, vessel IT networks, and digital connectivity solutions.
• Build a strong sales pipeline through direct customer engagement, networking, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
• Achieve and exceed annual sales and revenue targets.
Key Account Management
• Develop and maintain relationships with ship owners, ship managers, offshore operators, ports, and government maritime organizations.
• Engage with C -level executives and key decision -makers.
• Drive account growth through upselling and cross -selling opportunities.
Sales Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and execute sales strategies for India and regional maritime markets.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, contract finalization, and tender submissions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging maritime technologies.
• Collaborate with technical, operations, and service teams to deliver customer -centric solutions.
Team Management
• Build, mentor, and lead a high -performing sales team.
• Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and drive a culture of accountability and growth.
• Ensure CRM discipline, accurate forecasting, and sales reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
• 12–18 years of B2B sales experience.
• Minimum 8+ years in Maritime SATCOM, Marine Electronics, VSAT, Telecom, Navigation, or Maritime Technology Solutions.
• Proven success in hunting and acquiring new customers.
• Strong network within shipping companies, ship managers, offshore operators, shipyards, and maritime ecosystem.
Technical Knowledge
• Maritime VSAT, LEO/GEO Satellite Solutions.
• Inmarsat, Iridium, Starlink Maritime, OneWeb, Eutelsat solutions.
• Vessel IT, Cybersecurity, Fleet Connectivity, and Managed Services.
• Marine Communication & Navigation Systems.
