Head Platform Management(Devops/QA)

The team is a dynamic team of Software Developers and Business Analysts spread across development centres in Zurich, Manila, Pune, Luxembourg, Madrid, Edinburgh and Berlin. We follow an agile process, working closely within but also with other related teams and clients to develop new product features and maintain existing ones in live use.

In addition, the team works with clients and partners to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet market demands and help shape the back-office landscape of tomorrow.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Avaloq as the head of DevOps and Quality Assurance. Acting as a general manager for the service development organization in the areas of DevOps and QA, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end services to banks and financial institutions, ensuring quality, reliability, and a smooth delivery pipeline that meets client expectations on time and with high standards.

• Advise organisation on DevOps and QA-related decisions
• Shape and manage the budget for your division

Qualifications:

• Strong technical background, enabling you to challenge and advise the team on key DevOps and QA-related topics and decisions
• Skilled negotiator and discussion partner, able to engage with senior management, including C-suite executives, using a blend of strong technical and business acumen
• Experienced leader with gravitas, leadership, and problem-solving skills, driven by a "get things done" attitude
• Articulate and confident in English, with the ability to clearly deliver complex and challenging content and messaging

Desirable:

• Proven track record of managing complex DevOps and QA initiatives
