| Ensure that the Quality Vision, Mission and Policy is effectively deployed across the plants by providing appropriate resources and thereby structuring quality system, product and process audit. | |||||||
| Establish, institutionalize structured process to capture the voice of customers through dealers and customer care for Product Quality & Reliability improvement and ensure that it is deployed through appropriate initiatives, goals and mentoring. | |||||||
| Ensures outgoing quality of the product meets/exceeds customer requirements. | |||||||
| Ensures that product meets/exceeds the outgoing product quality & consistantly meets the critical parameter in line with the product attribute leadership (PAL's) through use of appropriate statistical tools. | |||||||
| Ensures to get the priorities right for the product improvement by effectively coordinating with: PVT - for Product Quality and Reliability Improvement SQE - for Supplier Quality Improvement Ensure that the product is at par or better than the benchmark in terms of product and process parameters | |||||||
| Ensure the deployment of quality management system defined in MQS through structured product, process & component audit. | |||||||
| Approves and is authorized to stop production in case of violation of Quality Management System. | |||||||
| Takes the lead in organising periodic management reviews with the service management to provide updates on the progress as against the quality initiatives/goals & ensure timely escalations & PDCA. | |||||||
| Provide functional guidance to the quality assurance team in terms of enhancing quality functional excellence and ensure that a structured problem solving approach is being folowed to improve the effectiveness & efficiency. | |||||||
| Perform the role of a people manager for the team - Manage and support recruitment, set KRA's for direct reports, monitor overall team's KRA's, conduct performance appraisal, ensure clarity and delineation of individual roles, appropriate delegation of responsibility - Facilitate the development of subordinates through constant on and off the job learning, job rotation, etc - To guide, motivate and develop the sub-ordinates - Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the team, monitor staff welfare and facilitate complaint resolution, manage efficiency levels and drive timely delivery of all operational targets - Guides team in enhancing functional excellence in Quality Systems and Quality Engineering to resolve quality issues effectively and efficiently |
| Graduate in Engineering(Mechanical,Automobile, Electrical) | |||||
| ASQE/QMS certifications will be an advantage |
20+ years in Quality Assurance in Passenger Car & Small Commercial Vehicle segment.
