Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare IT Developer to join our dynamic team focused on building and enhancing applications within the Cerner (now Oracle Health) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience in mPage development, CCL scripting, and Smart on FHIR apps, playing a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that drive efficiency and innovation within healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Cerner mPages to support clinical workflows and enhance user experience.
  
• Design and write CCL (Cerner Command Language) scripts to extract, manipulate, and report healthcare data.
  
• Integrate third -party applications using SMART on FHIR to enhance interoperability and data access across healthcare systems.
  
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize healthcare solutions.
  
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment.
  
• Ensure adherence to healthcare standards, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and best practices.
  
• Provide technical support, maintenance, and documentation for Cerner -based applications and integrations.
  
• Stay up to date on Cerner updates, SMART on FHIR technologies, and other relevant healthcare IT advancements.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• Minimum three years of experience working with CCL and mPage development.
  
• Proficient in creating mPages using JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, ReactJS/Angular, .Net C#, HTML, OAuth2.
  
• Proven experience in CCL development, Cerner Data model, and FSI Open View and Open Port, integrating FHIR with Cerner data.
  
• Knowledgeable in Business Intelligence Reporting, Discern Analytics 2.0 (DA2), PowerInsight Explorer (PIE) and Discern Visual Developer (DVDev).
  
• Hands -on experience with SMART on FHIR for app development and integration.
  
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and interoperability concepts.
  
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare systems.
  
• Proficient in software development best practices and modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, SQL, C#).
  
• Experience with Cerner Millennium, PowerChart, and related applications.
  
• Excellent problem -solving skills and the ability to work in a fast -paced environment.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross -functionally with both technical and clinical teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in healthcare IT environments, particularly within hospital or clinical settings.
  
• Cerner training and certification will be a plus.
  
• Knowledge of different data standards, APIs, web services, and data integration techniques in healthcare.
  
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
