We are seeking a qualified and experienced PGT History Teacher to teach Grades XI and XII under the CBSE or ICSE curriculum. This role requires a passionate educator who can deliver engaging and concept-driven lessons in History and related subjects such as Political Science. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, experience preparing senior secondary students for board examinations, and the ability to foster critical thinking and analytical skills in the classroom. 

Key Responsibilities

• Teach History (and relevant Political Science topics, if required) to Grades XI and XII
• Deliver curriculum-aligned lesson plans as per CBSE / ICSE guidelines
• Prepare students effectively for board examinations through structured revision and assessments
• Develop engaging teaching methodologies to promote critical thinking and historical analysis
• Create and evaluate assignments, tests, and examination papers
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate academic records and documentation
• Participate in faculty meetings, academic planning, and school events
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Master’s Degree in History or Political Science
• B.Ed qualification (mandatory)
• Proven experience teaching Grades XI & XII in CBSE or ICSE curriculum
• Strong command of historical concepts and contemporary relevance
• Experience preparing students for board examinations with consistent academic results
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage senior secondary students through interactive and discussion-based teaching
• Strong organizational and assessment planning skills
