Job Description – Senior Accountant (CA Firm)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant with experience in a CA firm to independently manage accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, and client deliverables. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Income Tax, GST, TDS, financial reporting, and regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage books of accounts for multiple clients independently
  
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies
  
• Handle GST compliance, return filing, reconciliations, and ITC matters
  
• Manage TDS compliance, filings, and reporting
  
• Prepare Balance Sheets, Financial Statements, and MIS reports
  
• Support and coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits
  
• Handle ROC filings and regulatory compliance requirements
  
• Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and client advisory services
  
• Liaise with tax authorities and government departments when required
  
• Mentor junior team members and ensure quality deliverables
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS, Audit, and ROC Filings
  
• Experience in preparing Balance Sheets and Financial Statements
  
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, GST Portal, Income Tax Portal, and MCA Portal
  
• Good understanding of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliance
  
• Ability to manage client communications and regulatory submissions independently
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Commerce/Accounting
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounting, Taxation, and Audit
  
• Prior experience working in a CA Firm is preferred
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem -solving skills
  
• Immediate joiners or candidates serving a notice period of less than one month preferred
