Job Description – Biology / ESS / EVM Teacher (Grades 9–12)

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology, ESS, and/or Environmental Management to students in Grades 9–12 following the Cambridge curriculum.
  
• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry -based lessons that promote critical thinking and conceptual understanding.
  
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and learning resources aligned with Cambridge standards.
  
• Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide timely feedback.
  
• Prepare students for Cambridge examinations and practical assessments.
  
• Maintain accurate academic records and prepare student progress reports.
  
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and interactive classroom environment.
  
• Participate in faculty meetings, parent -teacher conferences, and school events.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and continuous curriculum improvement.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
  
• Prior experience teaching Grades 9–12 under the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE/AS & A Level) is highly desirable.
  
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology and Environmental Sciences.
  
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
