Hiring Female YOGA Teacher for a school in Maharashtra

Location:kopargoa/shirdi

salary range:25k to 40k

Benefits:single person shared accommodation.

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging, age -appropriate yoga and mindfulness sessions for students across different grade levels (Grades 1–10).
Incorporate breathing techniques (pranayama), gentle asanas, relaxation practices, and yoga storytelling to support emotional regulation and concentration.
Collaborate with teachers and school counselors to align yoga programs with student needs and school wellness goals.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages participation and self -expression.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Yoga, or a related field (preferred).
Certification in Yoga for Children (e.g., Yoga Alliance’s RYT 200 with child yoga specialization or equivalent).
2–5 years of experience teaching yoga to children in school or educational settings.
Strong understanding of child development, emotional intelligence, and trauma -sensitive practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and physical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with integrating yoga into academic or extracurricular curricula.
Knowledge of Indian classical yoga traditions and modern wellness frameworks.
Familiarity with school policies, child protection standards, and inclusive education practices.
