Car Mechanic – Roles & Responsibilities

 Vehicle Inspection & Diagnosis

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
  

• Use diagnostic tools and scanners to find faults
  

• Test -drive vehicles before and after repairs
  

 Repair & Maintenance

• Repair and replace engines, gearboxes, clutches, brakes, and suspension systems
  

• Perform routine servicing (oil change, filter replacement, lubrication)
  

• Repair steering, exhaust, cooling, and fuel systems
  

 Electrical & AC Work

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems (battery, wiring, alternator, starter)
  

• Repair car AC systems (compressor, gas filling, cooling issues)
  

• Handle ECU -related basic checks (as per experience)
