Job Description - Hiring Interior Designer faculty for an institute in chennai - ( Job ID - 23614)

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and interactive lectures on core interior design topics including space planning, lighting design, furniture design, and architectural detailing.
Develop and update course curricula to reflect current industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Mentor students through design projects, studio critiques, and portfolio development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, B.Des or a related field from a recognized institution.
2–5 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in a design firm, architectural practice, or educational setting.
Proven teaching or training experience in higher education or vocational institutes is highly desirable.
Strong proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Demonstrated portfolio showcasing original design projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire creativity, encourage innovation, and support diverse learning styles.
Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building standards (e.g., LEED, GRIHA) is a plus.
