Hiring ISO27001 information security experts with 5-6 years of exp

Position Overview:

We are hiring experienced into ISO 27001 Implementation Expert to oversee and manage the implementation of ISO 27001 compliant Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) within our hiring partners customers environment. The ideal candidate must need to have minimum 5+ years of experience into implementation of ISO 27001 and must need to have extensive knowledge of ISO 27001 standards, strong project management skills, and a proven track record in information security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement ISMS: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of ISO 27001 compliant ISMS, ensuring all processes and controls are in place to meet the standard requirements.
• Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
• Policy Development: Create, review, and update information security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
• Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness and educate staff on ISO 27001 requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Audit Preparation and Management: Prepare the organization for internal and external audits. Manage audit processes, address findings, and implement corrective actions to achieve and maintain certification.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor, review, and enhance the ISMS on an ongoing basis to adapt to changing security threats, business requirements, and compliance obligations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to secure commitment and support for the ISO 27001 implementation and ongoing compliance efforts.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of the ISMS, including risk assessments, treatment plans, policies, and audit records.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Certifications : Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or equivalent certification preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in leading ISO 27001 implementation projects.

• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards, information security principles, and best practices. Familiarity with risk management methodologies and security controls.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security issues.

Salary range: 11-12 LPA. Please don't apply if you have high salary expectation.

Job Location: It would be an hybrid but base location of the company would be Bangalore. You can work from home and depending on the project, you have to travel to customer site for project execution. During your business travel for project execution, expenses would be taken care by the company.
