Network Admin Engineer

Job Description

• 3+ years of experience in network administration and engineering.
  
• Location: Mumbai/Hyderabad.
  

Responsibilities

• Verify configuration and plan various network devices and services such as routers, switches, and SD -WAN.
  
• Demonstrate knowledge of dynamic routing protocols and actively participate in project planning and implementation.
  
• Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability, and conduct system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
  
• Provide Level 2 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues, collaborating with stakeholders for downtime and network outage.
  
• Adhere to established configuration and change management policies, ensuring the success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the company's security team.
  
• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and other IT personnel to resolve network problems and participate in the hardening and compliance of network devices.
  

• Proven hands -on experience in configuring and troubleshooting, particularly in a NOC environment.
  
• CCNA and CCNP (Routing and Switching) certifications.
  
• Hands -on experience with networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, and EIGRP, as well as Cisco Nexus switches.
  
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model and core knowledge of routing and switches.
  
• Proficiency with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools (e.g., SolarWinds, HP OpenView).
  
• Proficient in MS Office and effective coordination with service providers and branch users.
