Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer at PTC Windchill, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions tailored to client needs. This position requires deep expertise in PTC Windchill, with a focus on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust application components. You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME), guiding team decisions and driving technical excellence across projects. Your contributions will directly impact system performance, reliability, and innovation, ensuring alignment with evolving business requirements. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentorship of junior engineers, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical leadership.

Location: PAN INDIA

Responsibilities:

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and lead technical decision-making for the team.
Drive solution design and implementation for complex client requirements within the PTC Windchill ecosystem.
Lead the identification and resolution of critical technical challenges affecting project delivery.
Mentor and guide junior team members to support their professional development and skill growth.
Collaborate with multiple teams to align on key technical and project decisions.
Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
Conduct thorough debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of software components.
Ensure seamless integration of modules across diverse client environments.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications and system designs.

Requirements

Minimum of 6-11 years of professional experience in software engineering.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with PTC Windchill.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and adherence to best practices in application design and testing.
Proficient in version control systems and effective code repository management.
Demonstrated ability to debug, optimize, and enhance software performance.
Experience in integrating software modules and ensuring compatibility across varied client environments.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher (15 years of full-time education required).
