Summary: We are seeking a detail -oriented Procurement Associate to support the day -to -day operations within a leading manufacturing company specializing in the production of PET preforms, bottles, jars, and dispensers. This role is critical in ensuring seamless supply chain operations by managing end -to -end procurement activities, maintaining compliance, and fostering strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving efficiency, cost -effectiveness, and timely material availability to support production targets.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily procurement activities including purchase requisition (PR) and purchase order (PO) creation, along with follow -ups for timely execution.
Execute purchase transactions using ERP/SAP MM module with accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
Maintain comprehensive purchase records, generate MIS reports, and ensure proper documentation for all procurement activities.
Monitor delivery schedules and proactively address potential delays to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Assist in vendor evaluation, price benchmarking, and negotiation processes to support cost optimization.
Ensure full adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Support internal and external audit requirements by providing accurate and timely procurement data and documentation.

Requirements

Requirements:

Graduate in B.Com, BBA, or a related field (preferred).
2–3 years of experience in a procurement or purchase department.
Hands -on experience with ERP/SAP MM module.
Solid understanding of procurement processes, documentation, and best practices.
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word for reporting and data management.
Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
