Job Description – Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in BOQ, rate analysis, measurement, contract management and project cost control. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with MS Excel, AutoCAD and Primavera.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage BOQs for construction projects.
  
• Conduct site measurements and evaluate work completed for billing.
  
• Perform rate analysis, cost estimation and budget tracking.
  
• Manage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  
• Review and negotiate claims, variations and additional works.
  
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts and project cost updates.
  
• Use MS Excel, AutoCAD and Primavera for project tracking and reporting.
  
• Identify cost and schedule risks and develop mitigation plans.
  
• Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams and stakeholders.
  
• Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors and support the commercial team.
  

Requirements

• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering – Mandatory.
  
• Strong experience in Quantity Surveying / Commercial / Cost Management.
  
• Hands-on expertise in BOQ preparation, measurement and rate analysis.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD and Primavera.
  
• Knowledge of contract management, claims and variation handling.
  
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
