SAP ABAP OData Developer - SAP IS-U

Summary

Responsibilities

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of the SAP IS-U industry solution to evaluate business requirements and deliver customized technical results.
  
• Employ practical expertise in extracting and analyzing SAP IS-U data models, covering both master and transactional tables, to convert functional specifications into efficient technical designs.
  
• Perform Object-Oriented ABAP development activities with a high level of skill while strictly following established best practices.
  
• Create, build, and roll out OData services using the SAP Gateway framework.
  
• Implement sophisticated OData methodologies, such as deep insert structures, complex entity expansions, and batch processing, to enhance service efficiency.
  
• Connect RESTful APIs and SAP integration components, including RFCs, BAPIs, and Proxies, to enable reliable system communication.
  
• Design and execute seamless data flows and integrations that operate across both SAP and non-SAP environments.
  

• Must possess expert-level competency in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) and the Enhancement Framework.
  
• Must have a demonstrated history of working extensively with the SAP IS-U industry solution.
  
• Must show a proven ability to build and utilize OData services through SAP Gateway.
  
• Must hold a firm grasp of advanced OData concepts and patterns for RESTful API integration.
  
• Must have prior experience utilizing SAP integration utilities such as RFCs, BAPIs, and Proxies.
