Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer – Finishing to manage and supervise high-quality finishing works across construction projects. The candidate should have strong expertise in civil finishing, site execution, BOQ, drawing interpretation, and vendor/contractor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise finishing works including flooring, tiling, plastering, masonry, waterproofing, false ceilings, and painting.
  
• Ensure quality, timely execution, and compliance with project specifications.
  
• Interpret AutoCAD drawings and execute work accordingly.
  
• Prepare and review BOQ, quantity calculations, and material requirements.
  
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and site teams.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure QA/QC and safety compliance.
  
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and timelines.
  
• Resolve site-related technical issues and provide guidance to execution teams.
  
• Maintain project reports, documentation, and progress updates.
  
• Ensure finishing works are completed within approved timelines and budgets.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Civil Finishing / Interior Finishing / Building Construction.
  
• Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in flooring, tiling, plastering, masonry, waterproofing, false ceilings, and painting.
  
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD drawing interpretation, BOQ, estimation, and quantity calculations.
  
• Experience in vendor, contractor, and subcontractor management.
  
• Strong knowledge of site execution, quality control, and construction practices.
  
• Good communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Willingness to travel across project sites in Kolkata.
