Job Summary

The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Merchandising (D2C) will support end -to -end merchandising operations for the Direct -to -Consumer business of a kids wear brand. The role involves assortment planning, vendor coordination, sourcing support, pricing analysis, sell -through tracking, and collaboration with cross -functional teams to drive category growth and profitability. The ideal candidate should possess strong merchandising knowledge, market understanding, and hands -on experience in apparel retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support annual buying plans aligned with business targets for value and volume.
  
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely sourcing and cost -effective procurement.
  
• Assist in supplier evaluation, vendor performance tracking, and sourcing initiatives.
  
• Support development of seasonal product ranges based on consumer trends and market insights.
  
• Execute merchandising strategies for D2C channels to improve sales and profitability.
  
• Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and trend tracking for product planning.
  
• Maintain an optimal assortment mix across pricing, quality, and styles.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in merchandising within apparel/fashion retail
  
• Prior exposure to kids wear or D2C merchandising preferred
  
• Experience in vendor management, sourcing coordination, and assortment planning
  
• Understanding of pricing strategy, inventory management, and sell -through analysis
  

Education

• Graduate in Fashion / Apparel / Textile Design
  
• Fashion Management or MBA (Retail/Fashion) preferred
