Summary:
The Territory Sales In Charge plays a pivotal role in driving sales performance and market expansion for a leading building materials manufacturer specializing in plywood. Based in Kolkata, this position is responsible for achieving annual sales targets across diverse trade channels, including dealers, sub -dealers, architects, interior designers, and institutional clients. The ideal candidate will lead territory operations with strategic oversight, ensuring consistent delivery of quality standards, effective customer engagement, and seamless execution of promotional initiatives. This role is critical in strengthening brand presence, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering long -term relationships across key market touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual territory sales targets across multiple trade channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and sub -dealers through regular engagement and site visits.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to post -sale support, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Drive secondary sales by identifying growth opportunities and optimizing channel performance.
Ensure strict adherence to quality norms and standards in product handling and delivery.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Plan and implement below -the -line (BTL) marketing activities to boost brand visibility and sales conversion.
Identify customer pain points and implement improvements across all customer touchpoints to enhance overall experience.
Lead and coordinate stakeholder activities within the assigned territory, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in project sales and channel sales within the construction materials sector, including plywood, tiles, flooring, metal sheets, road materials, or related industries.
In -depth product knowledge of plywood, including applications, specifications, and market positioning.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, analysis, and presentation purposes.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.
