HOD - Store

Supervise and control all store activities – receipt, inspection, proper storage, and issue of materials.

Ensure availability of spares, consumables, and packing materials for uninterrupted plant operation.

Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical items.

Monitor inventory movement and implement FIFO/FEFO practices.

Develop and implement effective inventory control systems to minimize stock-outs and excess stock.

Ensure proper documentation (GRN, MRN, Issue Slips, Return Notes) in ERP/SAP/Oracle or other inventory systems.

Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Maintenance, and Production teams for smooth material flow.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping, and storage norms.

Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

Identify non-moving, obsolete, or scrap items and initiate disposal process.

Lead, train, and develop store staff for efficient operations.

Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
