Job Description - Hotel Sales Manager

We are full-cycle Recruitment and HR Outsourcing company, looking to hire a Hotels Sales Manager, for 5-STAR International Brand property chain at Mumbai India.Hotel Sales ManagerJob DescriptionAs a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, and promoting our 5-star property. Your primary focus will be on room sales, corporate clients, and banquet events. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and other departments to achieve sales targets and enhance the hotel’s market presence and market share.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize room occupancy, banquet bookings, and revenue, continually.Set ambitious sales targets and monitor performance against these goals.Identify market trends, monitor and decipher competitor activities, and engage into opportunities for growth.Corporate Sales:Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.Negotiate corporate rates, contracts, and long-term partnerships.Collaborate with the marketing team to create customized proposals and presentations.Banquet Sales:Drive banquet and event sales by targeting weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.Coordinate with the banquet team to ensure seamless execution of events.Business Marketing:Develop marketing campaigns to promote the hotel’s facilities, amenities, and unique offerings.Utilize digital platforms, social media, and local advertising to reach potential clients.Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions.Team Leadership:Lead and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.Monitor individual and team KPIs, celebrating achievements and addressing challenges.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare regular sales reports, forecasting revenue, and identifying areas for improvement.Analyze market data, guest feedback, and booking patterns to refine strategies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably in a 5-STAR or ultra-luxury property.Excellent Spoken and Written communication skills, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong networking abilities and a customer-centric approach.Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Suite.Additional Information:Location: Mumbai, India.Compensation: Competitive salary, performance-based incentives, and employee benefits.If you’re passionate about sales, customer satisfaction, and creating memorable experiences for guests, we’d love to hear from you!Please feel free to DM me on my ID above!
