Job Title: Sales Head / Sales Manager
Client: Boutique Luxury Hotel chain (presence in Jim Corbett, Lucknow, Goa etc).
Department: Sales, General Management
Reports To: COO, Dotted line - General Manager of Unit
Salary Band: 9-11 LPA Approx
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Client Management: Drive sales to new, existing, and prospective clients. Manage corporate accounts and maintain regular sales calls with target market principals.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors and conduct market research to inform strategy.
- Business Development: Develop relationships with business generators, meeting planners, travel agents, and other key partners.
- Event Promotion: Plan and conduct client interviews, familiarization tours, and site inspections. Travel as needed to promote the hotel.
- Operational Interface: Work closely with operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Sales Strategy: Contribute to sales strategy meetings and assist in the preparation of tenders and new product development.
- Team Leadership: Assist in recruitment, training, and performance management of the sales team.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the departmental budget.
- Monitor and control costs to ensure budget performance.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure a safe environment for team members and guests.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Strong market knowledge and client relationship skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Leadership experience and a track record of driving team performance.
