Housekeeping Mentor

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Mentor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in housekeeping operations, hospitality standards, and practical hotel industry experience. The role involves mentoring, training, and guiding students to develop the skills and knowledge required for successful careers in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and train students in housekeeping operations and hospitality best practices.
  
• Conduct practical training sessions, demonstrations, and workshops on housekeeping procedures.
  
• Guide students on cleaning standards, room maintenance, guest service, and workplace professionalism.
  
• Prepare training materials, lesson plans, presentations, and assessment activities.
  
• Monitor student progress and provide continuous feedback and support.
  
• Assist students with internship preparation, placement readiness, and career development.
  
• Conduct evaluations, practical assessments, and skill -development activities.
  
• Maintain professional standards and discipline during training sessions.
• Collaborate with faculty and academic teams to enhance student learning 
  

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Housekeeping department of a reputed 5 -star hotel.
  
• Strong practical knowledge of housekeeping operations, hygiene standards, and guest service.
  
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Passion for teaching, coaching, and student development.
  
• Previous training, mentoring, or teaching experience will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
