Responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement.
Acts as a bridge between management and staff to ensure a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.
Manage end -to -end recruitment for academic and non -academic staff.
Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and approvals.
Post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and issue offer letters.
Manage employee onboarding, induction programs, and documentation.
Maintain complete and accurate employee records (personal, academic, service history).
Handle confirmations, transfers, promotions, resignations, and exits.
Conduct exit interviews and ensure full & final settlements.
Monitor staff attendance, leaves, and shift schedules.
Coordinate payroll processing with accounts team.
Ensure timely salary disbursement and statutory deductions.
Manage employee benefits, incentives, and reimbursements.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, school policies, and statutory requirements.
Manage PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory documentation.
Draft, implement, and update HR policies and SOPs.
Support internal and external audits related to HR.
Support performance appraisal cycles and documentation.
Coordinate staff training, workshops, and development programs.
Track training needs and effectiveness.
Address employee grievances and conflict resolution.
Promote positive workplace culture and staff well -being.
Organize staff events, meetings, and engagement initiatives.
Prepare HR MIS reports for management.
Track attrition, attendance trends, and manpower metrics.
Maintain HR dashboards using ERP / HRMS tools.
