We are looking for a proactive and responsible HR Executive to manage the complete HR operations of our centre in Wayanad. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth HR processes, maintaining employee records, coordinating payroll and attendance, supporting recruitment, handling employee concerns, and ensuring compliance with organisational HR policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End HR Operations
Manage all day-to-day HR activities of the Wayanad centre.
Handle the complete employee lifecycle from joining to exit.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure timely completion of onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions and exit formalities.
Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees at the centre.
2. Recruitment & Staffing
Coordinate with the Centre Head and functional managers to identify manpower requirements.
Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and selection.
Coordinate joining formalities and ensure timely onboarding of selected candidates.
Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular manpower status updates to management.
3. Attendance, Leave & Payroll
Monitor and maintain employee attendance, leave and regularisation records.
Ensure timely and accurate HRMS/attendance updates.
Prepare and submit monthly payroll inputs including attendance, LOP, new joiners, exits and other applicable changes.
Coordinate with the central HR/Payroll team for payroll-related queries and corrections.
Monitor adherence to working hours, leave policies and attendance procedures.
4. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
Address day-to-day employee queries and HR-related concerns.
Handle employee grievances professionally and escalate matters appropriately when required.
Maintain positive employee relations and support a healthy work environment.
Assist management in handling disciplinary matters, warnings and performance-related concerns as per organisational policies.
5. HR Documentation & HRMS
Maintain complete and confidential employee personnel files.
Ensure timely issuance and maintenance of appointment, confirmation, transfer, warning, relieving and other HR-related letters.
Keep employee information updated in the HRMS.
Maintain HR trackers, reports and centre-level HR MIS.
Ensure all HR documentation is accurate and audit-ready.
6. Statutory Compliance
Ensure adherence to applicable statutory requirements and organisational HR policies.
Coordinate with the central HR team for PF, ESI, professional tax and other applicable statutory requirements.
Maintain required records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Ensure centre-level HR practices are aligned with applicable labour regulations.
7. Employee Engagement & HR Initiatives
Coordinate employee engagement activities and centre-level HR initiatives.
Support induction, orientation, training and awareness programmes.
Promote employee welfare and a positive workplace culture.
Conduct regular employee interactions and identify HR-related concerns or improvement areas.
8. HR Reporting & Coordination
Prepare regular HR reports and MIS for the Centre Head and HR Department.
Track manpower, attendance, attrition, recruitment, leave and other HR metrics.
Coordinate with Finance, Administration, Operations and Central HR for employee-related matters.
Ensure timely communication and implementation of HR policies and organisational initiatives at the centre.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in HR Generalist / HR Operations.
MBA/PGDM/MSW in HR will be an added advantage.
Prior experience independently handling HR operations for a branch, centre, hospital, healthcare organisation, NGO or similar setup will be preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR operations.
Good understanding of attendance, leave and payroll processes.
Working knowledge of HRMS and MS Excel.
Basic understanding of statutory compliance and labour regulations.
Strong interpersonal and employee-handling skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of centre-level HR activities.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Malayalam proficiency is essential; knowledge of English will be required for official communication.
