Job Description - HR Operations Partner Talent & Compliance

Purpose
of the Role

The
HR Operations Partner – Talent & Compliance is an individual contributor
role responsible for managing end -to -end HR operations, talent acquisition and
onboarding, statutory and labour law compliance, and administrative
coordination. The role ensures effective HR governance, regulatory compliance,
and seamless employee lifecycle management in alignment with organizational
objectives.


Key
Responsibilities

Human
Resources

  • Manage end -to -end
    talent acquisition, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing,
    offer management, and structured onboarding.

  • Own HR operations
    and employee lifecycle management, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and
    timely updates of employee data within the HRMS.

  • Ensure full
    compliance with applicable statutory and labour laws, including EPF, ESIC,
    Gratuity, Professional Tax, POSH, and other relevant regulations; act as
    the primary point of contact for statutory audits and inspections.

  • Oversee employee
    benefits administration, including health insurance policy management,
    renewals, claims coordination, and employee communication.

  • Review, approve,
    and issue HR documentation, including appointment letters, confirmations,
    promotions, transfers, and separation -related documents.

  • Manage employee
    relations and grievance redressal, ensuring fair, timely, and
    policy -compliant resolution.

  • Supervise and
    validate payroll inputs, ensuring alignment with statutory requirements
    and company policies, and coordinate with Finance and external payroll
    vendors.

  • Develop, maintain,
    and present HR MIS, dashboards, and management reports to leadership for
    informed decision -making.

  • Support senior
    leadership in HR policy development, process improvements, and governance
    initiatives.

Administration
  • Provide overall
    oversight of office administration and facilities management to ensure
    smooth and efficient day -to -day operations.

  • Support vendor
    management and procurement activities, including negotiations, renewals,
    service coordination, and cost optimization.

  • Coordinate with
    cross -functional teams, IT, and external service providers to meet
    infrastructure and operational requirements.

  • Ensure adherence
    to workplace safety, hygiene, and administrative standards.

  • Act as a functional backup and escalation point
    for administrative operations to ensure business continuity


Requirements

  • Strong stakeholder
    management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to
    manage complex HR operations, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and
    drive timely closure independently.

  • Advanced
    proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel for MIS and analysis, Word,
    PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Hands -on
    experience with HRMS platforms such as Zoho People or equivalent systems.

  • In -depth knowledge
    of Indian labour laws, payroll governance, and statutory compliance
    frameworks.

  • Strong analytical,
    problem -solving, and decision -making abilities.

  • High standards of
    confidentiality, compliance orientation, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work
    effectively in a fast -paced and evolving organizational environment.

 

Qualifications
& Experience

  • Graduate or
    Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a
    related discipline.

  • 5–10 years of
    relevant experience in HR operations, statutory compliance, and
    administration, preferably within IT, services, or corporate environments.

  • Prior experience
    in handling statutory audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.

  • Exposure to HR policy formulation, process
    design, and governance frameworks will be an added advantage.
