Job Description - HSE Officer

Description
  • Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures across the manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA) and ensure effective control measures are implemented.
  • Monitor compliance with statutory requirements and company HSE standards.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and employee safety training.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage work permit systems, including hot work, confined space entry, work at height, and electrical isolation (LOTO).
  • Ensure contractor safety management and PPE compliance.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including mock drills and first aid arrangements.
  • Monitor hazardous waste management, chemical handling, and environmental compliance.
  • Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and participate in internal and external audits.
