Role: HR Associate, New Delhi Experience: 1-3 years Salary: 3-5 LPA __________________________________________________________________ About the role - We are seeking an astute and ambitious Human Resources Associate. The HR Associate will primarily support the organization's HR operations by ensuring smooth and accurate employee documentation, record management, contract administration, onboarding and offboarding coordination, and maintenance of attendance and leave records.
The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort with both online and offline documentation, and the ability to coordinate effectively with employees and internal teams to ensure timely completion of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities-
1. Employee Documentation and Records Management
Maintain and update employee records in both physical and digital formats with accuracy and confidentiality.
Ensure all employee documentation, including joining documents, contracts, letters, policy acknowledgements, leave records, and exit records, is complete, organized, and up to date.
Manage filing and record-keeping systems for easy retrieval during audits, reviews, or internal reference.
Support regular updating of employee databases, trackers, and HR folders
2. Attendance and Leave Management
Maintain and update employee attendance and leave records accurately and on time.
Track leave applications, attendance regularization, and related documentation in coordination with employees and reporting managers.
Support the preparation and consolidation of attendance and leave data for payroll processing.
Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance related to employee absenteeism, leave balances, and attendance discrepancies.
3. Contract and Employment Documentation
Prepare, issue, and track employment letters, contract renewals, extension letters, and other HR-related documentation.
Maintain a tracker of contract timelines and proactively coordinate renewals to ensure no lapses.
Follow up with employees and reporting managers for required approvals and documentation related to renewals and employment changes.
4. Onboarding Coordination
Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees, including the collection and verification of joining documents.
Support induction and orientation logistics to ensure a smooth joining experience.
Coordinate with relevant internal teams for employee set-up, including official email IDs, HRIS/ERP accounts, system access, and other onboarding requirements.
Ensure all onboarding formalities are completed in a timely and organized manner.
5. Offboarding Formalities
Support end-to-end offboarding processes, including documentation, clearance coordination, exit paperwork, and record closure.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely deactivation of accounts, retrieval of assets, and completion of exit formalities.
Maintain accurate offboarding records and trackers.
6. HR Operations and Coordinations
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HR function.
Assist in maintaining HR trackers related to employee status, documentation, onboarding, offboarding, contracts, attendance, and leave.
Coordinate with internal teams for basic HR operations and employee support requirements.
Support the smooth functioning of HR systems and basic employee account management processes.
Job Requirements Essential Requirements
Graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, HR coordination, or HR administration.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Familiarity with HRIS/ERP platforms (such as Zoho People or similar systems) is preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all organizational levels and externally.
Excellent collaboration, management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize a diverse and demanding workload and meet deadlines consistently.
Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to undertake regular travel to states and field locations.
