- 6 to 10+ Years 1. Install, configure, and maintain IBM DB2 databases in production and development environments. 2. Perform day to day database maintenance tasks such as backups, recoveries, reorgs, and runstats. 3. Monitor database performance and tune queries and system parameters for optimal efficiency. 4. Managing user access and security. 5. Actively participate in database design phase. 6. Actively participate in planning and implementation of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BCP) planning. 7. Ensure all aspects of DB2 database security control measures are correctly implemented with proper ongoing maintenance. 8. Conduct periodic review and confirm of database accounts to meet audit requirements. 9. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. LI-INPAS
