IBM - MQ DevOps

4-8 years of experience in middleware messaging and operations in large and complex global enterprises Hands-on experience on IBM MQ / IBM IIB or ACE (App Connect Enterprise) Hands-on experience with Software design and development (preferably Java) and Web technology Hands-on experience in operations Experience with capacity management (Azure, AWS, Linux and MQ) Broad technical knowledge of Cloud, Mainframe (z/OS) and Linux Understanding of PIC (Problem, Incident, Change), ITIL and ITSM frameworks Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices. Problem solving / analytical skills, tools, and techniques with experience in troubleshooting MQ issues as well as other complex MQ performance issues. Critical thinking, decision-making, good analytical and inter-personal skills. Organizational and problem-solving abilities. Very good oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to work under pressure and manage highly critical production incidents. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in IBM MQ (good to have). Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality delivery.
