ICEGATE and Odex Filing (Logistics)

We are seeking an experienced Customs Documentation professional to join our Client's CHA team. This position requires hands -on expertise in preparing and filing export declarations and taking full responsibility for documentation accuracy and compliance prior to submission.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Customs Documentation Preparation: Prepare and verify Customs Checklists using EDI platforms such as USOFT, Odex, or similar systems.

• Government Portal Filing: Handle Shipping Bill filing through ICEGATE and ensure proper submission of supporting documents via e -Sanchit.

• Compliance Management: Ensure correct classification using HS Codes, verify shipment values, and cross -check all data with invoices and packing lists to maintain regulatory compliance.

• Shipment Processing: Manage export documentation processes including VGM filing, Form 13 preparation, and required international filing procedures like ENS / ISF / ICS.

• Quality Control: Ensure complete accuracy in all export filings and assist in resolving customs queries or discrepancies when required.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a CHA firm or freight forwarding company handling export customs documentation.
  

• Hands -on experience with ICEGATE and export EDI software such as USOFT, Visual Impex, or equivalent platforms.
  
  
• Strong understanding of customs procedures, DGFT regulations, and international shipping practices.
  
  
• Candidates based in Mumbai with easy access to Western Line or Metro connectivity preferred.
