Responsibilities:

Provide round-the-clock medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing
Stay current with evolving best practices in critical care medicine through continuous learning and participation in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Support training and mentorship of junior medical staff, interns, and medical students in the ICU setting.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies in high-risk environments.

Requirements:

MBBS degree with a valid license to practice medicine in India.
Postgraduate training or certification in Critical Care Medicine (D.M. or M.D. in Critical Care) is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in ICU or high-dependency unit settings.
Proven expertise in managing complex medical conditions such as sepsis, acute respiratory failure, multi-organ failure, and trauma.
Proficiency in advanced life support techniques, including intubation, central line placement, and invasive monitoring.
Strong understanding of ICU protocols, mechanical ventilation, sedation management, and hemodynamic support.
Excellent clinical decision-making, time management, and ability to perform under pressure in emergency situations.
Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across specialties.
Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
