In this role, the Implementation Engineer is responsible for:

🔧 Core Responsibilities

• Planning implementation activities with the Project Manager, including airline deliveries and associated services.

• Coordinating tasks and reporting to stakeholders throughout the implementation.

• Fitting Altéa-related product setup to align with airline business needs.

• Supporting airline engineers during the migration to the new product.

During system migration, multiple airline business processes need to be aligned for optimal revenue performance. This requires the Implementation Engineer to have a broad understanding of airline business and Amadeus solutions.

🎯 Main Accountabilities

🛠️ Implementation Activities

§ Work with Project Manager & Solution Consultants to define and plan migration strategy from legacy systems to Amadeus products.

§ Support customers during reengineered business process transitions.

§ Perform system setup according to customer requirements and project scope.

§ Monitor and resolve documented issues.

§ Coordinate with Amadeus stakeholders to ensure alignment with migration strategy.

§ Organize and execute required customer testing.

§ Perform cutover rehearsals and production cutover activities.

⭐ Quality

§ Ensure high quality of deliverables.

§ Maintain efficiency of proposed solutions.

§ Ensure compliance with industry standards and corporate strategies.

§ Support documentation and industrialization of implementation processes.

The successful candidate will gain cross-functional and technical expertise on Amadeus products, along with a global understanding of Airline IT and business architecture.

🎓 Education and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Postgraduate qualification in Statistical / Operational Research is an added advantage.

• 4-6Yrs

💻 Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Amadeus technical architecture (desirable).

• Experience in UNIX environments (file processing, configuration, infrastructure setup) – nice to have.

• (Optional) Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI.

• (Optional) Understanding of Amadeus change management setup processes (DBOSR, OTF, LSS, JOBOSR, CTM).

• Understanding of open back-end technologies (desirable).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).

🌐 Functional Skills

• Good knowledge of airline IT business and core Inventory, Schedules, or Revenue Management systems.

• Knowledge of Revenue Management / Dynamic Pricing (desirable).

• Experience with Amadeus RAAV (Revenue Availability & Active Valuation) is a strong asset.
