Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage day -to -day import logistics operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely execution of all import -related activities.
- Maintain and update all import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, Bill of Lading, etc.) in full compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Coordinate with overseas vendors, freight forwarders, and carriers to arrange bookings, track shipments, and ensure on -time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with import customs regulations, Incoterms, and import control laws, while proactively addressing any changes in regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and verify import shipping documentation, ensuring smooth customs clearance and uninterrupted cargo movement.
- Collaborate cross -functionally with Sales, Finance, and Warehouse teams to facilitate seamless import operations and resolve shipment -related issues.
- Monitor international trade regulations, import documentation requirements, and EXIM policies to ensure continuous compliance and operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance import accuracy, reduce turnaround times, and strengthen overall logistics performance.
Requirements
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of shipping documentation and logistics regulations.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Experience in compliance with customs and understanding of incoterms.
4. Familiarity with ERP and SAP systems is an added advantage.
5. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (including advanced formulas), and
PowerPoint.
6. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast -paced environment.
7. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
8. Attention to detail with excellent execution and coordination abilities.
9. Ability to work as part of a team, effectively following verbal and written instructions.
10. A proactive and meticulous approach with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
11. Ability to think innovatively and deliver out -of -the -box solutions.
Skills:
1. Current knowledge of industry trends, EXIM policies, and international logistics
regulations.
2. Strong execution, coordination, and organizational skills.
3. Excellent computer knowledge, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
